Our Mission

TO LIVE OUT A ROBUST RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD BY HIS SPIRIT,  STUDYING TO GROW TO KNOW AND LOVE GOD MORE,  AS WE STRIVE TO LOVE OURSELVES AND OTHERS WELL.

  • IN OUR CHURCH (COMMUNally)

    We believe that church isn't a religious organization, but instead a gathering of family and friends following Jesus together. We strive to authentically want to love and care for one another, walking with each other, and Jesus, in everyday life.  So leave the religion at the door and join us in following Jesus. 

  • IN OUR COMMUNITY (LOCALLY)

    Whether it is serving breakfast for the local Middle School and Jr High FCA huddles, a water station at the marathon, meals for kids over the summer, or teaching kids music and art -  We want to be present in our community, loving and serving others, in a diversity of ways. 

  • IN OUR WORLD (GLOBALLY)

    We have always strived to make our support of missions a priority. We currently provide ongoing  support over 15 diverse missions, and support many more individual missions that are meeting people with the good news of Jesus and making disciples locally and globally.

DISCIPLEMAKER'S PRAYER

Heavenly Father, Thank you for giving me a disciplemaking way of life in Christ Jesus. As I go through every part of this day, help me to love you and love the people who cross my path-starting with my family. Don't let me miss the adventures you are sending my way to live and speak the Good News about Jesus today. Draw my heart to you and to specific people you want me to pull close for Jesus-like disciplemaking friendships. By your Word and Spirit, transform me into a follower of Jesus who loves you, loves people, and makes disciples-who make more disciples, ad infinitum. -In Jesus' name, amen.

who are

we?

We are a diverse gathering of people from all walks of life who are following Jesus.

We are deeply committed to seeing God at work in His Word; the Bible, and at work in the world around us through His Spirit that has been given to us. 

what to expect?

We love gathering together to worship the presence of God found in His Word and through His Spirit. 

1. We gather to worship Sundays, at 10am (Sunday School at 9am).

2. We believe the Bible isn't an accessory, but a necessity for every follower of Jesus (Heb. 4:12).

2. We talk about The Holy Spirit, because He leads us to Jesus (John 14,15,16).

3. We take communion weekly (1 Cor. 11:26).

4. Kids are in service, because we believe that it is important for them to see and experience intergenerational faithfulness and worship. 

5. Our worship isn't perfect, just like life, but it's always better when we are following Jesus together.

We begin Sunday mornings at 9:00am by gathering together to learn together.

Pastor Jason has been at CEFCM for over 10 years and is passionate about Jesus, his family, making disciples like Jesus, the church as a family of followers, coffee, teaching Jesus and the Bible, music, creativity and loving people in a diversity of ways.
